    Farmstead Circle uses cookies and browser local storage to provide essential platform functionality. We are committed to transparency about how and why we use these technologies. This policy explains what cookies and local storage data we set, their purpose, and your options regarding them.

    2. What Are Cookies & Local Storage?

    Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit.

    Local Storage and Session Storage are web browser features that allow websites to store data locally on your device. Unlike cookies, this data is not sent to the server with every request.

    Farmstead Circle uses only essential cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for the platform to function or to remember interface preferences you set. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel).

    We do not use a server-side session cookie such as connect.sid. Authentication uses Firebase ID tokens as described in our Privacy Policy.

    4. No Third-Party Tracking or Advertising Cookies

    Farmstead Circle does not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or similar third-party analytics or advertising technologies. We do not use cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising. Your activity on our platform is not sold to advertisers or data brokers.

    Because we use only essential first-party storage (and essential payment/security cookies controlled by Stripe when you use payments), we do not display a cookie consent banner. That posture is designed for US/Virginia operation. If we add non-essential analytics or ad technology in the future, we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent or opt-out controls before those technologies load.

    5. Third-Party Resources That May Set Their Own Cookies

    Some features load scripts or assets from third parties that may set their own cookies or use local storage under their policies. Farmstead Circle does not control those cookies.

    • Stripe: When you use payment features, Stripe may set cookies for secure payment processing and fraud prevention. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
    • Google Maps / Places: Map and address autocomplete features load Google Maps JavaScript. Google may set cookies or use storage related to Maps. See Google's Privacy Policy.
    • Google Fonts: Public pages may load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Google may process connection data under its policies when fonts are requested.
    • Firebase Authentication: Sign-in uses Google Firebase / Identity Toolkit endpoints. See Firebase Privacy Information.

    6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

    Since we only use essential first-party cookies and storage required for the platform to function or remember your UI preferences, there is no cookie consent banner. Disabling these cookies or clearing site data may prevent you from staying signed in or may reset preferences.

    You can manage cookies through your browser settings:
